About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Senior Project Manager to join our team at GE Steam Power Canada Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading complex construction projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met
    • Identify and mitigate project risks
  • Team Leadership and Management
    • Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure team members have the necessary skills and resources
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management
    • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders
    • Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners
    • Ensure effective communication among team members and stakeholders
  • Quality and Safety
    • Ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality standards
    • Develop and implement quality control processes
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. construction management, engineering)
  • Experience
    • 5 years or more of experience in construction project management
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Work Environment
