About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of team members and ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
  • Ensure that all restaurant operations are running smoothly and efficiently, including food preparation, customer service, and cash handling
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment for team members and customers
  • Participate in local events and community activities to promote the McDonald's brand and build relationships with customers
  • Enforce our renowned cleanliness methodology and ensure that all team members are following proper procedures
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the restaurant or retail industry, preferably in a leadership role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
