Position Overview:
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team is seeking a highly skilled individual with significant expertise in leading Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) technical teams. This role is crucial in designing and managing an enterprise IAM program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical leader, responsible for the selection and implementation of innovative capabilities within the Aviva Canada IAM program.
- Engage with various teams across Aviva Canada to deploy exceptional IAM solutions that enhance security and improve customer experience.
- Oversee the engineering, management, and operation of IAM processes and tools.
- Lead a team of senior IAM engineers and technical support specialists to realize the IAM vision and roadmap, focusing on IGA, CIAM, and PAM solutions.
- Define and develop solutions that meet IGA, CIAM, and PAM capabilities, ensuring alignment with business requirements and architectural standards.
- Evaluate and recommend solution alternatives that align with business strategies and current environment constraints.
- Deliver comprehensive architectures and designs using both agile and waterfall methodologies, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Contribute to the development of IAM strategy roadmaps, ensuring alignment with the target state architecture.
- Establish metrics to assess IAM solutions against security and business objectives, driving continuous improvement.
- Innovate and enhance IAM capabilities to deliver value and secure digital assets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in guiding technical teams.
- At least 8 years of experience in implementing IAM technologies and processes.
- Hands-on experience with IAM tools such as OKTA Customer Identity Cloud, Sailpoint IdentityNOW, and BeyondTrust is essential.
- Deep understanding of CIAM technologies and standard methodologies.
- Extensive knowledge of IAM capabilities, including authentication, authorization, and access control management.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and providers such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in applying IT risk management practices within the IAM domain.
