Project Coordinator

Project Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team at Broadstreet Properties Ltd. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a critical role in the planning and coordination of facilities projects and green field development for our multi-family residential properties throughout Western Canada.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate day-to-day aspects of project planning and scope creation
* Facilitate project estimation and bidding with third-party vendors
* Facilitate contract documentation
* Facilitate project design requirements with internal and external parties
* Prepare project documentation, organization, and communication
* Help facilitate the creation of business cases for new products and design standards
* Facilitate the curation and upkeep of construction design standards
* Use project scheduling to organize and plan projects for handoff to regional project teams for execution
* Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to key stakeholders
* Address questions and concerns throughout the inception to startup of each project
* Organize and distribute all project documents appropriately
* Organize, compile, and submit grant and permit applications to various levels of municipal, provincial, and federal governments
* Create planning schedules
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a Project Planning or Project Coordination role
* Understanding of construction and building systems
* Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods
* Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
* Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
* Effective communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills
* Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
* Project management or technical certification (CET) preferred
