Accounting Specialist

About the Role
Richter is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team in Montreal. As a key member of our Family Office Services, you will provide personalized financial planning and accounting services to high-net-worth families.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage investment bookkeeping, including reconciliation with broker statements and tax reporting slips.
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and credit card reconciliation, and month-end journal entries.
- Prepare supporting documents for year-end preparation and correspond with Canada Revenue Agency and Revenue Quebec as required.
Requirements
- University degree, college diploma, or diploma of vocational studies (DEP).
- Investment bookkeeping experience and knowledge of various software applications, including QuickBooks, SAGE CaseWare, and Excel.
- 2-5 years of relevant bookkeeping experience and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent time management skills, self-starter attitude, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
