Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Nuclear Construction Compliance Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity of nuclear construction projects through robust quality assurance initiatives. The successful candidate will lead efforts in welding and non-destructive examination (NDE) to uphold the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage nuclear quality assurance initiatives.
  • Ensure all necessary certifications and permits are current and maintained.
  • Develop, revise, and implement quality manuals and procedures.
  • Provide both technical and administrative guidance to the team.
  • Plan and execute quality audits and surveillance activities.
  • Address and resolve quality-related challenges, particularly in welding.
  • Estimate job hours and manage departmental budgets effectively.
  • Formulate and uphold quality assurance procedures.
  • Deliver training and support for quality assurance programs.
  • Guarantee adherence to relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with peers on quality assurance matters.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in relevant sectors.
  • A degree or diploma in engineering or a related discipline.
  • Relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of nuclear quality assurance practices.
  • Experience with welding protocols and NDE methodologies.
  • Strong communication, training, and budgeting skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
