We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our interdisciplinary team at the East Coast Forensic Program. As a member of our team, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, consultation, and psychotherapy services to patients within the Psychiatric Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit and other programs as needed.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology, with experience in conducting comprehensive assessments, providing treatment, and participating in multidisciplinary teams. You will also have the ability to work effectively with resistant and challenging client groups, and demonstrate expertise in developing and presenting education programs to healthcare professionals and community organizations.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a recognized MSc or PhD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university program, and registration or eligibility for registration with the NSBEP. A minimum of two years relevant clinical experience is preferred, with a strong background in adult mental health and forensic psychology.
The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting structured clinical interviews and assessments, formulating and implementing treatment plans, and providing clinical supervision to students. They will also have the ability to work independently and as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team, and demonstrate expertise in developing and presenting education programs to healthcare professionals and community organizations.
Hours and CompensationThis is a permanent, full-time position with a 75-hour bi-weekly schedule. The successful candidate will be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
Recruitment incentives may be available based on qualifying criteria.
