Section Vice-Chair Role Overview

The Section Vice-Chair plays a crucial role in supporting the Chair in managing regular and topical Section activities throughout the program year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Chair to oversee Section activities and ensure their successful execution.
  • Attend Council meetings and the Annual General Meeting in the event the Chair is unable to attend, providing continuity and stability.
  • Participate in orientation and other meetings arranged by the Executive Committee, Section Committee, and/or the Section Activity Coordinator, staying informed and engaged.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as delegated by the Chair, adapting to the needs of the Section.
