Section Vice-Chair Opportunity

About the Role:

The Section Vice-Chair will assist the Chair in managing regular and topical Section activities throughout the program year. This includes attending Council meetings and the Annual General Meeting in the event the Chair is unable to attend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Chair in overseeing Section activities and ensuring their successful execution.
  • Represent the Section at Council meetings and the Annual General Meeting, providing a voice for the Section's interests and concerns.
  • Participate in orientation and other meetings arranged by the Executive Committee, Section Committee, and/or the Section Activity Coordinator, contributing to the development of Section initiatives.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as delegated by the Chair throughout the program year.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and time management skills are also essential for success in this role.
