Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Debt Recovery Agent to join our team. As a Debt Recovery Agent, you will be responsible for communicating with customers to resolve outstanding debts, establishing professional relationships, and negotiating payment arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with customers to resolve outstanding debts
  • Establish professional relationships with customers and educate them on best practices
  • Negotiate payment arrangements to help resolve customers' bills
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism
  • Contact past due customers to request payment and negotiate payment arrangements
  • Update customer account information and document call activity details
  • Handle objections and excuses
  • Perform to regulatory standards and best practice on collections
  • Achieve individual collection targets to meet department and company goals
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in collections, especially in 3rd party collections
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French
  • Good math skills with the ability to perform basic calculations quickly
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
