About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Company General Manager to join our team at Island Insurance Agency Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to drive business growth and success.
    • Establish clear objectives and goals for the organization, and ensure that all departments are aligned with these objectives.
  • Financial Management
    • Oversee the financial planning and budgeting process, ensuring that the organization is operating within its means and achieving its financial goals.
    • Establish and maintain financial controls to ensure the integrity of the organization's financial systems.
  • Human Resources
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of insurance professionals.
    • Ensure that all employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their roles.
  • Customer Service
    • Develop and implement customer service strategies to ensure that customers receive exceptional service and support.
    • Monitor and evaluate customer satisfaction, and make improvements as necessary.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure that the organization is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role in the insurance industry.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to develop and implement business strategies.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting
