Job Title: Transportation Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Supervisor to join our team at Connect Transport Ltd.

Job Summary

The Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and resolving work problems. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train workers in duties and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Organize tasks to accomplish work and oversee operational logistics.
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to achieve organizational goals.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management.
  • Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of computer equipment and machinery.
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews and co-ordinate, assign, and review work.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Initiative and organized with a strong work ethic.
Work Environment

The Transportation Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail. The successful candidate will be required to work 35 hours per week in a permanent position.

The primary language of work is English.
