Position Overview

The role of a Food Service Supervisor at Firehouse Subs involves overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant's culinary team. This position is essential in ensuring that our food quality and service standards are consistently met.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role
Work Environment

The supervisor will work in a fast-paced restaurant setting, requiring the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel
  • Ensure that food quality and service adhere to established standards
  • Prepare budget plans and cost estimates
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
  • Compile and submit operational reports
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef
  • Possess knowledge of the restaurant's culinary offerings
  • Oversee the assembly of food trays
  • Supervise the delivery of food trolleys
Supervisory Duties

This position involves supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.
