Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Optician to join our team at LensCrafters in Winnipeg, MB. As a Licensed Optician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing expert optical care to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and engage with customers to understand their optical needs
  • Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses
  • Act as a leader in optical acumen and provide expert advice to customers
  • Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail
  • Assist team members with complex product needs and prescriptions
  • Utilize technology to accurately and efficiently complete tasks
  • Proactively identify and resolve customer issues
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies
  • Maintain a clean and organized store appearance
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • State licensure
  • Optical dispensing experience
  • Strong customer service skills, including communication, listening, and teamwork
  • Knowledge of current store merchandise
  • Strong basic math skills
  • Awareness of current fashion trends
  • Selling skills, including the ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet
  • Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous customer service and retail experience
