Job Title: Data Governance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to join our team. As a critical member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance, controls, and compliance frameworks to ensure the highest standards of data management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and roll-out data governance strategies, policies, standards, and procedures to align with organizational goals and requirements.
  • Oversee the development, review, and monitoring of compliance with data governance processes, and lead investigations and reporting of any violations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including global data offices, privacy, and information security, to integrate data governance controls and policies into key organizational processes.
  • Design and deliver training programs and workshops to enhance data governance knowledge and practices across the organization.
  • Facilitate change management activities to ensure the adoption of changes, and implement measurement systems to monitor adoption, utilization, and proficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • ~5+ years of proven experience in developing and implementing data governance and risk management practices at an enterprise level.
  • ~ Demonstrated experience in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • ~ Knowledge of workshop facilitation, change management methodologies, tools, program and project management, and adult education.
  • ~ Excellence influencing, communication, problem solving, project management, and presentation skills.
