Human Resources Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Events Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating events, managing employee relations, and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate events, conferences, and meetings for the HR department and other stakeholders
- Manage employee relations, including coaching, hiring, and interviewing staff
- Administer pay, benefits, and leave, and enforce company policies and practices
- Facilitate and improve internal communication across the organization
- Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments
- Provide collaborative guidance and advice on integrated communication strategies to build employee morale, productivity, retention, and policy compliance
- Implement, conduct, facilitate, and/or analyze results of employee morale and retention initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
- Three (3) years of professional-level experience in human resources
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid class 5 driver's license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick
- Written and spoken competence in English
