Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Wellington Pizza. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met, and that our kitchen is clean and well-organized.
- Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering and receiving goods.
- Train and develop kitchen staff, including new hires and existing employees.
- Monitor and control food costs, including menu planning and pricing.
- Ensure that all customer complaints are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records, including inventory, sales, and customer feedback.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
This is a full-time position, working 35 to 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
