Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to clients
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop strategies for improvement
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Psychiatric Nursing program or approved Registered Nursing program
  • Active registration with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM) or the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of applicable policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in mental health or addictions
  • Knowledge of the addictions field and experience in mental health
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills in English
  • French and Indigenous language skills
