Position Overview

The Pinnacle Hotel Vancouver Harbourfront is seeking a dedicated individual to join their Housekeeping team as a Housekeeping Attendant. This role requires a meticulous, organized, and guest-centric approach to maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest accommodations.

Compensation


$20.66-$27.54 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms, including making beds and replacing linens as per established protocols.
  • Efficiently removing waste, soiled linens, and room service items.
  • Dusting and polishing furniture to maintain a pristine environment.
  • Vacuuming carpets in guest rooms and hallways to ensure cleanliness.
  • Inspecting furniture for any damage and reporting issues for prompt resolution.
  • Documenting guest requests for special services and maintaining records of Do Not Disturb notifications.
  • Exhibiting professionalism and a helpful attitude in all interactions with guests and colleagues.
  • Restocking supply carts and transporting them to designated areas.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal, with strong communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a track record of building positive relationships.
  • Ability to efficiently complete cleaning tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and a sense of urgency in all responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Physical capability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 11.5 kilograms (25 pounds) without assistance.
  • Willingness to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a high-end establishment is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Possession of the necessary documentation to work legally in Canada.
