Service Technician

Cold Jet is seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team in Cambridge, Canada. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing installation, service, and troubleshooting support on dry ice blasting machines and dry ice manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform equipment repairs at customer sites and at our Rancho Cucamonga office, troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
  • Provide technical phone support and hands-on troubleshooting.
  • Generate and update service quotes, service call orders, and job entries in company software systems.
  • Contribute to sales of parts and service.
  • Support other Cold Jet departments, including sales, engineering, and operations.
  • Able and willing to travel up to 10% of the time, including international travel.
Operations Support Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize inventory flow and ensure accuracy.
  • Review monthly inventory trends and discuss variations with the inventory manager.
  • Recommend inventory replenishment based on sales activity.
  • Work with the inventory manager to plan and execute cycle counts and annual inventory audits.
Requirements:
  • Degree in a technical field or equivalent military training.
  • 5+ years' experience in field service working with mechanical equipment.
  • Proficient level skills with MS Office, especially Excel, and ERP & CRM applications.
  • Strong business communication skills and high attention to detail.
