We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:

  • Diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Conducting road tests to ensure vehicles are safe and reliable
  • Communicating with customers and service advisors to ensure that their needs are met

Qualifications:

  • Registered 310S technician or 3rd/4th year apprentice
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License
  • Detail-oriented and problem-solving skills
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Strong communication skills and computer literacy

Responsibilities:

  • Complete repairs and services as per assigned repair orders, using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment
  • Road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems using diagnostic tools
  • Review work orders and discuss worth with service advisors
  • Provide repair and servicing recommendations to service advisors and discuss parts availability with parts department
  • Utilize computer to punch on and off jobs and document repair progress and diagnoses
  • Stay up-to-date on factory training, recall notices, service actions and other manufacturer requirements

Wages and Hours:

  • Flat rate hourly pay, negotiable based on experience
  • Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5:30pm
  • Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
  • Half-day Saturday shifts during spring / fall tire season (4-8 per year)
