Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Repairer, Motor Vehicle to join our team at QUALITY OIL CHANGE & TIRE SERVICE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Provide customer service
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week
Work Environment

As a Mechanical Repairer, Motor Vehicle, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. You will be required to stand for extended periods and have good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
