Job Title: Automotive Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team at United Auto Body Centre Inc. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Provide customer service
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Attention to detail

  • Standing for extended periods
