The Technical Project Leader is responsible for ensuring that technology solutions are effectively implemented in alignment with organizational goals, while managing multiple teams concurrently.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of implementation projects that may involve product customization, system integrations, and data migration, aiming to enhance team capabilities in developing innovative systems and business workflows.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Development, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams to prioritize initiatives and facilitate the project lifecycle.
- Engage in a hybrid work environment, with a designated workspace in a home office setup.
- Utilize company-provided equipment and remote access tools, along with formal training programs.
- Communicate effectively with directors and senior management, both verbally and in writing.
- Work closely with business units to gather and understand requirements related to application development and enhancements.
- Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Develop metrics to assess efficiencies pre- and post-implementation of new tools or processes.
- Conduct research on software systems to comprehend existing functionalities and evaluate the impact of potential modifications.
- Participate in and guide the daily activities of implementation teams, including staff management and agile ceremonies.
- Take ownership of projects, collaborating with business stakeholders to refine and clarify business requirements.
- Facilitate technical discussions and work in partnership with other technologists and architects.
- Lead engineering teams proactively, addressing obstacles and ensuring compliance with Agile methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Approximately 6+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, including at least 2 years in project and team management.
- Strong technical foundation with practical coding experience.
- Proficient in project and team management, with familiarity in Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with a diverse range of users, from highly technical to non-technical.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Developed analytical and evaluative skills.
- Flexible, innovative, and adaptable problem-solving approach.
