About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Operations Manager to join our team at 620694 NB Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff

Lead and manage a team of 11-15 kitchen staff members, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to help staff members improve their skills and knowledge, and to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.

Manage Kitchen Operations

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and food preparation.

Ensure Quality and Safety Standards

Ensure that all food and service meet the highest quality and safety standards, and that all health and safety regulations are followed.

Manage Budget and Resources

Manage the kitchen budget and resources, including ordering supplies and managing inventory.

Communicate with Customers and Staff

Provide excellent customer service, and communicate effectively with staff members to ensure that they are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent experience.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role.

Skills and Knowledge

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff members. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and food preparation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet deadlines.

Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet deadlines.
