National Sales Manager for Rare Diseases

Amgen is seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Sales Manager for Rare Diseases to join our team. As a key member of our Rare Disease Business Unit, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals to drive business growth and expand our presence in the rare disease market.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and business objectives
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand our presence in the rare disease market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, payers, and patient advocacy groups
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical affairs, and market access, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business strategies
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and tactics
- 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a focus on rare diseases
- Proven track record of success in leading sales teams and driving business growth
- Strong understanding of the rare disease market, including key stakeholders, market trends, and customer needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
