About the Role

The Restaurant Manager at Bâton Rouge Grillhouse & Bar is responsible for planning and directing the activities related to food and beverage preparation and service. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure a professional appearance and supervise the organization of equipment and personnel to meet customer needs.
  • Plan and direct activities related to food preparation and service, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Evaluate beverage and labor costs, and monitor server and dining room staff activities.
  • Maintain a positive work environment, recruit and hire dining room staff, and train them on new recipes and equipment.
  • Order food, supplies, and equipment, and execute other tasks as assigned by the General Manager or Franchisee.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a server or dining room supervisor.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to make decisions quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively.

Work Environment

  • Fixed schedules with occasional overtime.
  • Frequent evening, weekend, and holiday work.
  • Occasional night shifts and intense work during meal periods.
