Role Summary
In the capacity of Corporate Security Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Business Integration. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and enhance the corporate security framework, which encompasses policy development, personnel security, event management, and training initiatives.
This position is designed to be executed from our offices in Ottawa or Toronto, following a hybrid work model. This is a full-time permanent role.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and enhance the corporate security programs, ensuring alignment with organizational risk management strategies.
- Identify and mitigate corporate security risks while ensuring compliance with established policies.
- Manage daily operations of the personnel security program, including security clearance oversight.
- Develop and maintain corporate security policies and procedures.
- Support the organization's business continuity initiatives.
- Cultivate effective relationships with staff and management, serving as a recognized authority in security matters.
- Provide expert advice on corporate security trends and foster a culture that values a secure working environment.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure comprehensive risk management.
- Lead investigations into sensitive security incidents, collaborating with external agencies as needed.
- Design and implement security training and awareness programs across the organization.
- Take a leading role during security events, providing authoritative guidance and participating in post-event evaluations.
- Collaborate with teams on simulation exercises to prepare for potential security incidents.
- Prepare budget drafts for the Corporate Security department for review by the Director.

Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge and experience in corporate security management, risk management frameworks, and incident management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction across all organizational levels.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in leading teams within corporate security, providing guidance and performance assessments.
- Background in developing and delivering training and awareness initiatives.
- Language Requirements: BBB (bilingualism in French & English, intermediate level).
- Security Clearance: Eligibility to obtain a Secret Level Security Clearance.
