Learning and Development Manager, Magna International Inc.

Magna International Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead the Magna University Program. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of advanced technical education programs for Magna's global engineering workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans for the Magna University Program, aligning with the company's business objectives and technical competencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Group and Divisional management, to identify and prioritize learning and development needs.
- Design and deliver high-quality educational programs, leveraging adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
- Manage program logistics, including course scheduling, instructor coordination, and participant registration.
- Track and report on learning outcomes, using metrics such as Kirkpatrick model evaluation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with university partners, ensuring alignment with program learning objectives and Magna's key strategic areas.
- Manage the Magna University Learning Portal, including course materials, assignment collection, and certification issuance.
- Compile and analyze learning metrics, providing insights to support regional and global L&D reporting requirements.
- University degree or college diploma in Business, Learning Management, Communication, Human Resources, or related experience.
- Minimum 5 years L&D implementation experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Experience in deploying L&D programs related to advanced technology and engineering competencies.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design process, and eLearning technologies.
- Strong project management skills, including setting priorities, multi-tasking, and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and accountability of team members.
