About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Operations Manager to join our team at Magna International Inc. as a Supplier Management Functional Lead. This is a key role that will drive the governance of the supplier management function and ensure the administration, operations, and organization of the department are cohesive, efficient, and effective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management Functional Operation Lead: Drive the governance of the supplier management function, ensuring compliance with set standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Department Administration: Ensure the administration, operations, and organization of the department are cohesive, efficient, and effective, with a focus on standardized guidelines and schedules.
  • Data Management: Ensure the uploading, tracking, maintaining, and archiving of completed data and review work files into databases, interfaces, and related systems.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Provide routine standard and ad-hoc KPIs, statistics, and reports, ensuring compliance with set standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Supplier Performance Management: Suggest practical solutions, alternatives, and improvements to the supplier management execution of resilience, supplier performance management, and adherence to supply chain regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Provide consistent regional and global support and engagement to Magna corporate, cross-functional, and group stakeholders and suppliers, fostering good working relationships.
  • Ad-hoc Projects: Assist with other various ad-hoc and cross-functional risk management projects and data analytics as identified.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of related work experience in supplier management, data management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft suite of applications, Power BI, and other analysis and reporting applications, as well as experience working with large databases and IT professional interfaces.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
