Chief Financial Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team at Personal Choice Financial Advisors, LLC. As a key member of our executive team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy and overall success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement long-term financial forecasts and budgets, monitoring performance against financial targets.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks that could impact our profitability and stability.
  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard our assets.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and oversee the annual audit process.
  • Manage our capital structure, including debt and equity financing.
  • Evaluate and recommend capital investments and financing options.
  • Optimize working capital and cash flow management.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, treasury, and tax functions.
  • Monitor and manage our investments and financial assets.
  • Collaborate with other senior leaders to align financial and operational strategies.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and industry best practices.
  • Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior finance leadership role.
  • Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
