Lifemark Health Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Social Worker to join our growing team. We are committed to providing exceptional mental health services, particularly to military veterans, within an integrated healthcare setting.

As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based psychotherapy and social work interventions to clients facing a range of mental health challenges. Your expertise will contribute to improving their overall well-being and fostering successful reintegration into their communities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide goal-oriented psychotherapy to veterans, addressing mental health concerns and psychosocial barriers that hinder their progress towards optimal health and social engagement.
  • Conduct comprehensive social work assessments and implement tailored interventions within the client's environment to enhance their social functioning and community integration.
  • Utilize a primarily cognitive-behavioral approach, grounded in a client-centered philosophy, to guide your therapeutic interventions.
  • Facilitate group psychoeducational sessions to empower clients with valuable coping skills and support networks.
  • Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team by participating in treatment plan discussions, sharing progress updates, and identifying any obstacles hindering client goals.
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders involved in the client's care.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
  • Registration with a provincial College of Social Workers as an autonomous practitioner in good standing
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in case conceptualization and psychotherapy/social work intervention for diverse adult clients experiencing mental health symptoms and psychosocial challenges.
  • Experience working with military, first responders, and veterans is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to thrive within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, autonomy, and unwavering integrity.
