Job Summary:
The Foundation Health Centre is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will provide therapy services to individuals with complex mental health illnesses and medical conditions, enabling them to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy services to individuals with complex mental health illnesses and medical conditions
- Aid in the resolution of complex psychosocial issues for a wide range of clients
- Plan outcome-oriented therapy services by collaborating with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare providers
- Establish and prioritize expected outcomes, discuss service implementation options, and determine sources and duration of service to meet identified short and long-term client goals
- Provide information and guidance to other caregivers, health service providers, staff, and other community agencies as required
Requirements:
- Masters of Social Work degree (M.Bachelor's Degree in Social Work with relevant work experience will also be considered)
- Current full registration with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers (NBASW)
- Recent, related experience working in a psychiatric or counselling setting with individuals who have complex mental health issues or equivalent
