About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Designer to join our team at Ditanu Inc. | Robotics & Automation. As a key contributor to our team, you will play a crucial role in designing robotics and automation systems for world-class organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Development: Develop mechanical designs, drawings, and bills of materials for robotic and automation systems, tools, machines, equipment, sub-assemblies, and products using SolidWorks.
  • Communication: Communicate with internal project stakeholders, vendors, and various trades to ensure project completion as planned and on budget.
  • Design Review: Review drawings for adherence to proper drafting and manufacturing standards.
  • Analysis: Analyze designs in the equipment and product development process, and analyze the use of one or more machines to carry out sequential operations.
  • Compliance: Analyze designs and systems for compliance to applicable standards.
  • Documentation: Create machine operation, maintenance manuals, and drawing documentation.
  • Team Support: Provide team technical support and complete other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: University Degree or College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in mechanical design and drafting in a custom automation environment.
  • Skills: Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD design software, product data management software, office software suite, and machine safety standards.
  • Industry Experience: Food and Beverage, Filling and Packaging.
