We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist and Programmer to join our team at Elevate RS Corp. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for studying blueprints, CAD data, and engineering schematics to determine programming needs and machining operations.
Key Responsibilities- Study blueprints, CAD data, and engineering schematics to determine programming needs and machining operations
- Determine the sequence and time required to finish the job efficiently
- Write programs to accomplish various machining operations according to specifications and product dimensions
- Ensure CNC programming is in accordance with production blueprints and quality standards
- Setup and operate various CNC machines
- Provide setup instructions to assist CNC operators using setup sheets
- Monitor machines for signs of problems while ensuring output meets set specifications
- 3 years of experience with Cimatron CAD/CAM
- 5 or more years of experience as a CNC Machinist & Programmer
- Ability to edit existing programs and test new programming
- Thorough understanding of "G" and "M" codes
