CNC Machinist

Russell Tool & Die, part of the Narmco Group companies, is a full-service tooling provider of both progressive and tandem dies, specializing in deep draw, aluminum, ultra high-strength steel (UHSS) and complex stamping dies.

Location is in Chatham ON

**Job Duties**:

- Program and operate CNC equipment - cut die blocks / die sections
- Boiler plate and tool steel machining
- 2 and 3 dimensional machining and programming
- Routine maintenance / troubleshooting CNC equipment and software
- Work with engineering staff on various projects

**Skills, Education and Experience Requirements**:

- Trade certificate or diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a machining environment, preferably Tool & Die
- Basic knowledge of Lemoine programming software
- Basic experience with Heidenhain and Fanuc controllers
- Experience with 5-axis machining and/or working with CamTool would be an asset
- Ability to read and interpret drawings/schematics
- Effective interpersonal skills and team mentality
- Good organizational skills

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Chatham-Kent, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- CNC programming: 4 years (preferred)
- Machining: 4 years (preferred)
