Role Overview

Sunglass Hut is a global leader in the sale of premium sunglasses with over 1600 retail stores across North America. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager I to join our team and drive our success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize company tools to deliver sales plan, develop associates, and achieve company objectives.
  • Identify and address gaps in performance and capitalize on successes using reporting tools and business acumen.
  • Provide ongoing coaching for associates to support their growth and development, creating an inspirational and motivating work environment.
  • Acquire talent by utilizing networking and recruiting skills, conducting interviews in partnership with the Store/Multi Store Manager.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships by maximizing company tools.
  • Consistently execute brand standards.
  • Maintain store merchandising standards, including updates or changes.
  • Stay current on new products in both fashion and performance using company learning tools.
  • Ensure execution of operational policies and procedures.
  • Communicate brand strategy to the team, including promotions, contests, and incentives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience
  • Expertise in every aspect of store operation
  • Detail-oriented
  • Critical thinking to deliver absolute execution of operational components

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer service and/or retail experience
  • Previous leadership experience of 1+ years
