Job Summary

The Assistant Manager I is a core member of the leadership team that drives Sunglass Hut's success. This role works in partnership with the Store/Multi Store Manager to oversee all the daily functions of the store, including selling, coaching, merchandising, talent acquisition and retail excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Utilize all company tools to deliver sales plan, develop associates and achieve company objectives.
  2. Provide ongoing coaching for all associates that supports their growth and development while creating an inspirational and motivating work environment.
  3. Acquire talent by utilizing networking and recruiting skills and conducting interviews in partnership with the Store/Multi Store Manager.
  4. Develop and maintain Customer relationships by maximizing all company tools.
  5. Consistently execute the brand standards.
  6. Maintain store merchandising standards including any updates or changes.
  7. Know product knowledge and use company learning tools to stay current on new products in both fashion and performance.
  8. Ensure execution of operational policies and procedures.
  9. Ensure clear communication to their team of brand strategy including all promotions, contests and incentives, etc.
Requirements
  1. High school diploma or GED
  2. 1+ years of experience
  3. Demonstrates expertise in every aspect of store operation
  4. Detail-oriented
  5. Uses critical thinking to deliver absolute execution of the operational components of the store
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Customer service and/or retail experience
  2. Previous leadership experience of 1+ years
