Job Title: Dump Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team at NOREX VENTURES INC.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a dump truck to transport goods to various locations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a dump truck to transport goods to various locations
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle heavy loads
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required
