Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Director, Product Development and Innovation to lead our product management group and drive the development and execution of our product strategy. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet business goals and market needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Product Strategy: Work with leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap that aligns with business goals and market needs.
  • Lead Product Development Team: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product and program managers, fostering a high-performance culture that delivers on ambitious goals.
  • Align Product Development with Business Goals: Align product development initiatives with business goals and market needs, ensuring that products meet technical specifications and performance standards.
  • Communicate Product Vision and Progress: Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Oversee Product Development Lifecycle: Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to guide products from conception to launch.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent experience in Technology Development and Productization.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7+ years of experience in a technical leadership role within the software and/or robotics technology sector, with a proven track record of successful product development.
  • Skills: In-depth understanding of product development processes and technologies, ability to guide and support the technical team, and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and strategic visions clearly and persuasively to a diverse range of stakeholders.
