Job Title: Financial Accountant
Location: In office, Windsor Ontario
Type: Part-Time to Full-Time (3 days a week to full-time)
Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 per annum (depending on experience and skillset)

Job Overview:

Elevate RS Corp is looking for a skilled and committed Financial Accountant to become a vital part of our financial team. The ideal candidate will oversee all financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing essential support for our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Compliance and Filings:
  • Ensure adherence to GST/HST regulations.
  • Prepare and file all necessary government documents.
2. Banking Operations:
  • Manage daily interactions with banking institutions.
  • Assist in processing transactions and overseeing banking activities.
  • Stay updated on various banking systems.
3. Financial Administrative Duties:
  • Support the completion of forms and applications utilizing General Ledger (G/L) data.
  • Assist with various finance-related administrative responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in accounting, especially with GST/HST and government compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of banking systems and procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in financial software and G/L data management.
  • Capable of working independently and juggling multiple tasks efficiently.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Relevant accounting certifications (e.g., CPA) are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable position.
Working Conditions:

This role offers flexible working hours, ranging from three days a week to full-time, depending on the candidate's availability and the needs of the business. Each candidate will have their own designated workspace.
