Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at BG HOSPITALITY GROUP INC.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports.
  • Establish work schedules.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Work under pressure.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Walking.
  • Attention to detail.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of 5-10 people. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
