Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and hosts/hostesses.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure excellent performance.
- Operations Management
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Customer Service
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and work to resolve issues promptly and fairly.
- Staff Management
- Hire and train new staff members, and provide ongoing support and development opportunities to help them grow in their roles.
- Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask are essential in this role.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role, or equivalent experience.
- Personal Qualities
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to multitask and work under pressure is essential in this role.
