About the Role

The Strategic Transportation Planning Manager is responsible for leading the development of transportation plans, policies, and strategies that support the city's vision for a safe, sustainable, and connected transportation network. This includes:

  • Developing and implementing transportation plans, policies, and strategies that align with the city's vision and goals
  • Leading the development of transportation data analytics and performance measurement systems
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, including the public, community groups, and other city departments, to engage and inform transportation planning decisions
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance on transportation planning and policy development
  • Managing and overseeing transportation planning projects and initiatives
About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced transportation planner with a strong background in transportation planning, policy development, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A university degree in a related field, such as transportation planning, urban planning, or civil engineering
  • Proven experience in transportation planning, policy development, and data analysis
  • Strong knowledge of transportation planning principles, policies, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inform stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
