Weekly Hours: 32 to 44 hours

Educational Requirements: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting 1 to 2 years

Experience Required: 2 to less than 3 years in a related field or equivalent experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct studies for work measurement and efficiency
  • Design and develop software applications for machinery and manufacturing processes
  • Gather and analyze operational or experimental data
  • Assist in the preparation of estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Certifications and Licenses

Certification from a provincial or territorial association is required.

Technical Proficiencies
  • Proficient in SolidWorks
  • Experienced with file management software
  • Knowledgeable in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • Skilled in programming software
  • Expertise in computer-aided design (CAD)
  • Familiar with AutoCAD
  • Proficient in MS Outlook and MS Windows
  • Ability to operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines
