CAD/CAM Programmer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CAD/CAM Programmer to join our team at 3D LASER & FABRICATION INC. as a permanent employee.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct work measurement studies and analyze data to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Develop computer applications for machines and processes using SolidWorks and other software.
  • Collect and compile operational or experimental data to inform design and manufacturing decisions.
  • Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports for clients and stakeholders.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accuracy and quality.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or CEGEP certificate in a related field, such as computer science or engineering.
  • 2-3 years of experience in CAD/CAM programming or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, File management software, Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and Programming software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
