Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CAD/CAM Programmer to join our dynamic team at 3D LASER & FABRICATION INC.. This is a permanent position that offers a flexible work schedule ranging from 32 to 44 hours per week. The ideal candidate will possess a college diploma or equivalent in a relevant field, with 2 to 3 years of experience in CAD/CAM programming.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive work measurements and studies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop innovative computer applications tailored for various machines and manufacturing processes.
  • Gather and compile both operational and experimental data for analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold certification from a recognized provincial or territorial association. Proficiency in the following software is essential:

  • SolidWorks
  • File Management Software
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software
  • Programming Software
  • Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
  • AutoCAD
  • MS Outlook
  • MS Windows
Work Experience

Experience in fabrication and specialization in the development of production processes, work planning, estimating, measuring, and scheduling is required.

Transportation Requirements

Candidates must have access to their own vehicle for transportation.

Work Environment

This role will be conducted in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Attention to detail is crucial.
