Position Overview

The Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration is in search of a tenured faculty member to contribute to the Business Management Department.

Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in post-secondary education alongside notable managerial expertise.

The successful applicant will be expected to teach the following courses:

  • BUSN 4275 (Strategic Business Management)
  • BUSN 3310 (Leadership and Organizational Skills)
  • BUSN 1210 (Fundamentals of Management)

The role involves guiding students, enhancing their learning experience, and assessing their academic progress. You will design, organize, and deliver educational activities.

It is essential to provide students with the necessary knowledge, resources, and support to thrive, ensuring a high-quality, student-focused educational experience.

Qualifications for Success
To excel in this position, candidates should hold a PhD, have ABD status, an MBA, or a relevant Master’s degree in the discipline or a related field from an accredited institution.

Additionally, candidates must have a combination of three years of professional and teaching experience directly related to the assigned teaching responsibilities, with at least two years of professional experience in a relevant area.

Applicants should demonstrate a strong capability to teach advanced courses at the post-secondary level, with preference given to those with a proven track record of successful teaching.

Collaboration with colleagues in a team-oriented environment is crucial.

Essential Skills
Candidates should exhibit excellent interpersonal abilities and possess a working knowledge of computer applications and educational technologies.
