About the Role
The Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration at Douglas College is seeking a regular probationary faculty member to teach in the Business Management Department.
Responsibilities
- Teach upper-level courses in Business Strategy & Competitive Analysis, Organizational Management Skills, and Management Essentials.
- Develop and deliver high-quality learning activities that promote student success.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a quality, learner-centered approach to post-secondary education.
Requirements
- PhD, ABD status, MBA, or relevant Master's degree in the discipline or related field from a recognized institution.
- Three years of work and teaching experience directly related to the assigned teaching responsibility, with a minimum of two years of work experience in a related area.
- Excellent teaching and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of computer applications and educational technologies.
