Job Title: Regular Probationary Faculty

The Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration at Douglas College is seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a regular probationary faculty member in the Business Management Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach upper-level courses in Business Strategy & Competitive Analysis, Organizational Management Skills, and Management Essentials.
  • Develop and implement engaging learning activities to facilitate student progress and evaluation.
  • Maintain a quality, learner-centered approach to post-secondary education.
Requirements:
  • PhD, ABD status, MBA, or relevant Master's degree in the discipline or related field from a recognized institution.
  • Three years of work and teaching experience directly related to the assigned teaching responsibility, with a minimum of two years work experience in a related area.
  • Excellent ability to teach upper-level courses at the post-secondary level, with preference given to candidates with previous successful teaching experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and working knowledge of computer applications and educational technologies.
